Is my file uploaded anywhere when I use Extract Pages?

No. The whole operation runs inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, which is why the tool works offline once loaded.

Does extracting pages lose quality?

Operations that only rearrange or rewrite PDF objects keep the original text, fonts and images untouched. Only tools that explicitly rasterise or recompress change image quality, and you control that.

Can I use this with password-protected PDFs?

Yes. When a file is encrypted you will be asked for its password; the output is saved without the password unless you add protection again.
